WRITING BIOGRAPHY.

2006 - “Who killed Martin Hannett”. Novel/biography to be published by Aurum Press in 2007.

2005 - “Dalek, I love you”. 30 minute Radio Drama for BBC 7, broadcast in February 2006.

2005 - "Heaven and Hell". Stage play for Northern Stage.

2003 - "All the Lonely People". Music Theatre piece based on the songs of the Beatles and Stones. Newcastle Playhouse.

2002 - "Me". Music Theatre piece about music, fashion and cocaine set in the 1980s. Gulbenkian Studio, Northern Stage.

2001 - "Oh you Pretty Things". Music Theatre piece about music, revolt and style in the 1970s. Gulbenkian Studio, Newcastle Playhouse.

2000 - "Face". Music Theatre piece about music, protest and culture in the 1960s. Tyne Theatre, Newcastle.

1999 - "Two Tribes".  Gangs in the North East. Tyne Theatre.

*1998 - "Selling Horses". BBC Radio Four. Director: Melanie Harris. 90 minute play set in the Appleby Horse Fair.

*1997 - "Opera de Malandro". BBC Radio Three. Director: Kate Rowland. 90 minute musical play. (Adaptation/dramatization of the Brazilian popular opera.)

*1996 - "Pamela Myers Show." BBC Radio Four. Director: Kate Rowland. 4 part Drama series.

1995 - "Boyscry". Durham Theatre Co. Stage play about the James Bulger case.

1994- "The Tchilak". Durham Theatre Co. Stage play about 'child carers'.

1993 - "Ian and Myra."  Durham Theatre Co. Stage play about Hindley and Brady.

1992 - “Halfway". Royal Exchange Theatre Co. Winner of Mobil New Playwriting Prize.

Previous to 1992 a huge range of pieces, particularly Theatre-in-Education, Community Theatre, small scale touring.
