I was the lead vocalist with the legendary Durutti Column and then formed my own band The Roaring 80s and sang with a number of other groups. My knowledge and understanding of popular music, particularly the 60/70/early 80s is encyclopedic. I have a specialist knowledge of 'post-punk' and the work of the late/great producer Martin Hannett.I'm hoping to move into the wonderful world of' 'punditry'!
